Is There A Chance That You Could Be Pregnant?

There is always the possibility of pregnancy when you have sex. The chances can grow or decrease at different times of the month, but because sperm can remain in a woman's body for a few days, it's impossible to determine what your chances are at any particular time.

Many women believe that if they utilize contraception, they will not be able to have children. Contraception, on the other hand, isn't 100 percent effective, and the risk of pregnancy is always present if you've had sex. [1]

A missed menstruation is one of the most prevalent indications of pregnancy. Although pregnancy is not the only reason a woman could miss her period, it should not be discounted if she has had sex.

Symptoms & Signs to Look Out For

Pregnancy signs and symptoms differ from one woman to the next, and even from one pregnancy to the next. Some ladies don't show any indicators at all. The start of signs and symptoms might happen at any time. Early warning signs may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • If you notice that you missed period
  • Breasts that are tender and swollen
  • Nausea, whether or not it is accompanied with vomiting
  • Urination becoming more frequent
  • Tiredness [2]

Other signs and symptoms may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Spotting
  • Cramping
  • Moodiness
  • Bloating
  • Constipation [3]

Tests for Pregnancy

A pregnancy test is a strong indicator of pregnancy; nonetheless, pregnancy tests are simply an indication of pregnancy. A pregnancy can only be diagnosed by a medical practitioner. Consider taking another pregnancy test or scheduling an ultrasound for confirmation if you've already received a positive result. We can schedule an appointment to confirm your pregnancy test findings if you phone our center. Although some women have gotten positive pregnancy tests without being pregnant, this is uncommon, and pregnancy should still be considered.

There's always the risk of pregnancy if you've had sex. A free and confidential pregnancy test or retest is available at our center. An ultrasound can also be provided or referred to confirm your pregnancy. Make a call right now. We are here to assist you in a discreet manner with your inquiries.
